Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert consultation and oversee the provision of transfusion medicine services in accordance with international best practices and guidelines
• Lead and actively participate in the development and implementation of transfusion medicine policies and protocols
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of transfusion medicine processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety
• Manage and monitor the distribution and utilization of blood and blood products
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes
• Provide education and training to healthcare staff on transfusion medicine practices
• Participate and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research and development projects related to transfusion medicine
• Keep up to date with current trends and advancements in transfusion medicine and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues

Requirements :

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Transfusion Medicine
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transfusion medicine as a Consultant
• Experience in an international or multicultural healthcare setting is preferred
• Proficient in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and result-oriented approach to work
• Familiarity with international regulatory standards for transfusion medicine
