Consultant - Security Engineer (Data Native Environments)

We are seeking an experienced Consultant - Security Engineer with specialized knowledge in securing data-native environments. This role involves working across Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), Real-Time Streaming (RTS), and containerization technologies, ensuring robust security for sensitive data across large-scale infrastructures. Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect and secure Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) platforms such as Cloudera, Hadoop, and Spark.
2. Implement security for Real-Time Streaming (RTS) platforms like Kafka and Flink.
3. Manage security tools (Ranger, Atlas, Knox) and ensure comprehensive EDW security.
4. Secure reporting platforms (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) across web and mobile.
5. Safeguard CI/CD pipelines using technologies like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
6. Secure databases (Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic) and ensure regulatory compliance.
7. Apply security controls for APIs, containers (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
8. Perform source code reviews, application penetration testing, and secure mobile platforms (iOS/Android).

Technical Expertise Required:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
2. Relevant certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CEH, CISM/CISA, CCSK/CCSP, CKA/CKS).
3. Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP/Oracle) are a plus.
4. Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are desirable.
5. Proficiency in cybersecurity principles like SoD, RBAC, and encryption techniques.
6. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR) and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).
7. Hands-on experience in Kubernetes security and CI/CD processes.
8. Skilled in Python automation for securing workflows.
9. Minimum of 2 years of information security engineering experience in data-native environments.
10. Experience leading technical teams and managing stakeholders in a DevOps setting.
11. Expertise in EDW, RTS, Data Analytics, and containerization platforms.
12. Knowledge of microservices architecture and secure technology solutions.
13. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
