Role Overview

The Consultant or Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and successfully treating a variety of oral and dental conditions. This role involves performing advanced surgical procedures while ensuring an exceptional standard of care for each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, including evaluations of patient history and diagnostic imaging
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Perform complex surgical procedures such as wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, and jaw surgery
• Ensure comprehensive post-operative care to facilitate recovery and address any complications
• Provide education to patients regarding their treatments and oral health maintenance

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the relevant jurisdiction
• Demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in oral and dental surgical practices
• Thorough understanding of dental and oral anatomy, surgical techniques, and patient management
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and medical staff
