Consultant Gastroenterologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations to understand patients' health concerns and medical histories.
• Collaborate with patients' primary healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Analyze historical health data and patient records to assist in diagnosis.
• Perform specialized diagnostic tests, including endoscopic procedures, to evaluate internal organs.
• Determine and recommend appropriate treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Perform surgeries related to the digestive tract when necessary.
• Collaborate with other specialists, such as oncologists, for cases involving cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a three-year internal medicine residency program.
• A minimum of three years of specialized training in Gastroenterology.
• High attention to detail and precision in clinical assessments and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with patients and medical teams.
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
• Competence in utilizing diagnostic imaging technologies, including X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
