Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Team Lead to spearhead our sales operations, manage a high-performing team, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scaling startups, managing teams, and optimizing sales processes using Zoho CRM. This role is pivotal in ensuring the team’s success through strategic guidance, performance monitoring, and results-driven leadership. The Sales Team Lead will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7+ sales associates, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Conduct daily lead audits and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.

Set clear goals and KPIs for the sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Monitor team performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets of $1M+.

Oversee and optimize sales workflows using Zoho CRM, ensuring accurate data management and actionable insights.

Conduct regular CRM audits and train team members on best practices to maximize efficiency.

Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to align efforts and enhance the sales pipeline.

Drive ROI-focused initiatives to improve team productivity and revenue generation.

Strategic Planning & Execution

Develop and execute sales strategies to scale the business and achieve revenue milestones.

Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and sales data analysis.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.

Coordinate with leadership to align sales strategies with overall company goals.

Reporting & Communication

Generate and present detailed reports on sales activities, team performance, and revenue metrics.

Conduct weekly and monthly reviews with the sales team to track progress and address challenges.

Act as the primary liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring seamless communication.

Requirements

Key Requirements

Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and achieving revenue targets of $1M+.

Interpersonal Skills : Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, collaboration, and professionalism.

Learning & Adaptability : Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly, adapt to evolving environments, and implement effective strategies.

Work Ethic & Availability : Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed, with an exceptional level of organization and attention to detail.

Commitment to Growth : Proven track record of stability and success in a single venture, showing a deep commitment to personal and professional development.

Expertise in Zoho CRM is required; certification is a plus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
