Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our esteemed network of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be Western Board Certified and possess a proven track record in delivering exceptional dermatological care. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of skin conditions while contributing to academic and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, examinations, and assessments for patients with dermatological conditions.
• Perform diagnostic procedures including skin biopsies, patch testing, and dermatopathology evaluations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's medical history, clinical findings, and unique needs.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities including topical and systemic medications, surgical interventions, and cosmetic procedures.
• Perform advanced dermatological procedures such as excisions, Mohs surgery, laser therapy, and aesthetic treatments.
• Provide patient education and counselling on treatment options, skincare, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff including residents and fellows in dermatology training programs.
• Participate in academic and research activities including publications, presentations, and clinical studies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records, documentation, and billing information.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology through ongoing professional development and participation in relevant seminars and conferences.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Western Board Certification in Dermatology (mandatory).
• Fellowship training in a specialized area of dermatology (e.g., Mohs surgery, pediatric dermatology, or cosmetic dermatology) is preferred but not required.
• Valid medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in the jurisdiction of practice.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical dermatology with demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and managing diverse dermatological conditions.
• Proficiency in performing dermatological procedures including surgical and cosmetic interventions.
• Fluency in Arabic, English, and French is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
