Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expert anesthetic care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout.
2. Perform pre-operative evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and administer anesthesia as per patient needs.
3. Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patient stability during surgeries.
4. Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
5. Manage emergency situations, including resuscitation and post-operative complications, with prompt and effective intervention.
6. Educate patients and families about anesthesia risks, benefits, and post-procedure care.
7. Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
8. Stay updated with advancements in anesthetic techniques, medications, and patient care innovations.
9. Train and mentor junior physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in anesthetic procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
2. Residency training in Anesthesiology.
3. Board certification in Anesthesiology.
4. Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.
5. Proven experience as a Consultant Anesthesiologist in a hospital or surgical center.
6. Strong knowledge of anesthetic medications, advanced monitoring equipment, and pain management techniques.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to make quick, critical decisions in high-pressure environments.
9. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
