Site Planner ensures Construction planning by controlling deviations and prepares the reports.
Duties and responsibilities
Develop the Construction Schedule within the period established in the Project Schedule.
Prepare the standard man-hour estimates based on the design quantities and the established WBS.
Feed Schedule with estimated standard Manhours to obtain the Progress Curves and Manpower Histograms.
Ensure that the schedules developed by the Subcontractors, as per their contractual obligations, are in alignment with the Level 4 Construction Schedule.
Perform schedule control at the cut-off dates and provide a forecast on completion dates especially if any adverse trends occur so that the recovery plan can be effectively enforced.
Assess physical progress at the cut-off dates, taking note of any evidence of deviations from the baseline and suggesting the remedial actions, if any.
Perform manpower control by collecting time sheets from the Subcontractors and compare the actual manpower against the planned, as per the baseline.
Prepare the weekly/monthly Progress Report related to the Site activities in accordance with the Project Procedures.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
Experience
Relevant experience in construction/modernization of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants.
At least 3 years of experience in the specific discipline.
Experience working on Contractor side.
