Construction Site Coordinator

The Construction Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily operations at construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong coordination skills to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and workers while maintaining effective communication between project managers and on-site teams. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and knowledgeable about construction processes, materials, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure project timelines are met.
2. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
3. Monitor site progress and report any delays, issues, or changes to management.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections.
5. Manage the delivery and storage of construction materials and equipment.
6. Resolve on-site conflicts and address concerns raised by workers or contractors.
7. Maintain accurate records of site activities, attendance, and materials used.
8. Assist in preparing and reviewing project documentation, including permits and reports.
9. Support quality control efforts by ensuring work meets required standards.
10. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply of materials.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in construction site coordination or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
7. Familiarity with construction management software and reporting tools.
8. Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
