Job description

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a well-experienced Construction Manager experienced in mid-high rise residential towers to join their team in Dubai to work on new build residential tower projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Construction Manager working on mid-high rise residential projects in the UAE, with preference given to those with prior experience working for recognized Main Contracting Companies. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 4 Month Contract position employed as an outsource candidate through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the construction lifecycle of mid-high-rise residential building projects, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and timeline standards.
  2. Manage day-to-day construction activities, including site supervision, contractor coordination, and resource allocation.
  3. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring strict adherence to project milestones.
  4. Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  5. Lead and motivate on-site teams, including engineers, contractors, and laborers, to achieve project goals.
  6. Collaborate with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve project challenges effectively.
  7. Monitor procurement and inventory of construction materials to prevent delays.
  8. Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Construction Manager Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is a must, and having a master’s degree is a plus.
  2. Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager in mid-high-rise residential building projects in the UAE.
  3. Having PMP, DM, or SOE certifications is an added advantage.
  4. Proven expertise in project management, construction methodologies, and mid-high-rise building codes and standards.
  5. Strong knowledge of local regulations, municipality approvals, and permitting processes.
  6. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
  7. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
