Construction Manager

Micah Solutions FZE is seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to join our client's team in the construction industry. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and execution to completion and handover. Your leadership and organizational skills will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
3. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
5. Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
6. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process in a timely manner.
7. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Willingness to travel and work on-site as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
2. Experience with contract negotiation and management.
3. Knowledge of sustainable construction practices.
