The Electrical Project Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects specifically related to 132 KV electrical system cabling and Gas Insulated Switchgear Substations modification, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including the civil subcontractor, cable pulling subcontractor, managing resources, and leading a team of electrical professionals. It will be a full-time site-based assignment at an island near Abu Dhabi. This position reports to the Project Manager and acts on his direct advice and instructions. All the site-based resources shall be under his direct control for the effective execution and timely completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all electrical construction activities from project initiation to completion.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation.
Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Address any changes or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
15 years of experience in electrical construction management or a similar role.
