Construction Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Draftsman to join our construction team.

Responsibilities:

1. Generate accurate construction drawings using CAD software based on architectural designs and engineering plans.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
3. Revise and update drawings as needed to reflect design changes and project updates.
4. Maintain organized documentation of construction drawings and revisions.
5. Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies.
6. Communicate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors.
7. Stay informed about building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
8. Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.
9. Participate in design and coordination meetings to provide input on constructability.
10. Address feedback from project stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to drawings.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Construction Draftsman or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant CAD software.
3. Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
4. Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
5. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
7. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
