Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)

Each Supervisor reports directly to the Construction Manager and is responsible for managing subcontractor activities within their specific discipline. They ensure that plant construction work is carried out in compliance with erection schedules, project documentation, and the assigned cost budget, while adhering to quality and safety procedures outlined in the subcontract terms.
The Supervisor may be supported by one or more assistants.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prior to the start of works, check the Supplier's material and technical documentation delivery schedule. Ensure alignment with Construction schedules and contractual commitments.
- Control and approve the Method Statements submitted by the Subcontractors, ensuring correct application in the field.
- Ensure implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibility.
- Directly participate in HSE activities at the site as defined in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.
- Monitor the schedule and promote actions to recover any delays.
- Check that the equipment and manpower employed by the Subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and Quality standards.
- Perform inspections and sign the necessary certificates as per Site Inspection Plans.
- Prepare the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor and coordinate nonconformity resolution.
- Detect design errors and rectify them or request the Site Engineer to make necessary changes.
- Check Subcontractors work progress status sheets and sign for approval.
- Assist the Contract Manager/Engineer in defining new prices, preparing amendments to subcontract, and analyzing and discussing claims.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
Experience
- Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
- Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.
- A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on the Contractor side.
