Job Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met with personalized service and attention.
  • Coordinate and secure reservations for dining, entertainment, and transportation, offering tailored suggestions based on guest preferences.
  • Provide detailed information about local attractions, events, and cultural experiences, enhancing the guest's stay with insider knowledge.
  • Assist with special requests such as arranging spa treatments, personal shopping, or private tours, ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and tact, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Manage the concierge desk operations, maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for guests.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and security, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on local events, seasonal activities, and relevant travel information to provide guests with current recommendations.
  • Utilize technology and concierge software to manage bookings, track guest preferences, and enhance service delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and service providers to offer exclusive benefits and deals to guests.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma is essential; a degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred for a solid foundational knowledge.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality role, preferably in a high-end or luxury environment.
  • Certifications such as Certified Concierge (CC) or membership in professional concierge associations are advantageous.
  • Proven track record in customer service excellence, demonstrating the ability to anticipate and cater to guest needs.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages, especially Spanish or Mandarin, is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills in using concierge software and property management systems to enhance guest service.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping others and providing outstanding service.
  • Physical stamina for occasional lifting, standing for long periods, and the ability to navigate a busy environment.
