Job Description

1. Concept Design: Create Concept Design & Space planning to meet client requirements.
2. Budgeting and Budget Consideration: Considering the budget during design development and creating a budgetary proposal with the support of the DM or Estimation team.
3. Space Planning Drawings: Guiding Draftsperson in Creating Space Planning Layouts.
4. Mood Boards: Create or Guide Junior Designers to create Mood Boards.
5. Sketches and Design Presentation: Preparing all necessary sketches and details for the Joinery Draftsmen and Technical team.
6. Approvals: Approve Space Planning Layout, created by the drafter based on experience, knowledge, and checklist.
7. Obtaining Client Approval: Getting Approval from the Client on Concept Design (Digital Mood Board and Concept Layout).
8. 3D Visualisation: Guiding Visualisers to produce HQ renders as per the approved concept.
9. FF&E: Guiding FF&E Designers to propose material and equipment list as per the approved concept.
10. Samples: Support the FF&E Designer in collecting necessary samples and creating a sample board for client presentation.
11. Obtaining Client Approval: Approval from the Client on 3D Renders.
12. Obtaining Client Approval: Approval from the Client on Materials & Equipment (FF&E) selection.
13. ID/Tender Drawings: Guide Technical Designer/Draftsperson for creating Tender Documentation | Interior Design Drawings.
14. Education: Following Design Trends & Implementing Innovations.
15. Technical Meetings: Initiate technical meeting reviews with the Project Management team for the revision of the 3D concept before sharing it with the client.
16. Approvals/Signature: Share approval/signature on the below documentation (before handover to the technical design team):
    • ID Drawings/Tender Documentation done by the Technical Design/Drafting team.
    • Material, Equipment, Furniture selection, and specifications.
    • Final HQ 3D Renders.
17. Handover Meeting: Conduct the handover meeting with the Project Management team.
18. Client Interaction: Ensure that the client is updated on the current design stage and following design steps; Inform the client about the next team lead and point of contact upon finalizing the Concept Design Stage with all necessary documentation.
19. MOM: Document Minutes of Meeting after a client meeting.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of Experience in the UAE, with a proven track record in concept design.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

Expertise: Strong background in residential and commercial interior design projects.

Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Adobe Suite). Excellent creativity, visualization, and presentation skills.

Communication: Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.

Leadership: Ability to lead design teams, manage project timelines, and collaborate with stakeholders.
