Computer Science Teacher - August 2025

Repton School Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding Computer Science Teacher for August 2025.

You will have the ambition to help drive forward excellence in teaching and learning within the Computer Science Department and will have a proven history of delivering exemplary examination results and teaching at both GCSE and A-Level.

Repton operates across two state-of-the-art campuses on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

• Rose Campus (Foundation School): Established in 2013, Rose Campus caters to students from Nursery to Year 2, providing a nurturing environment for approximately 600 young learners.
• Fry Campus: Opened in 2017, Fry Campus serves students from Year 3 to Year 13, including Senior School students who follow iGCSE and A-Level programmes. Fry Campus accommodates approximately 1,800 students, bringing the total capacity across both campuses to 2,300 students.

About the Department:

The Senior School spans year groups from Year 6 to Year 13. We are an all-through school so the majority of students entering the Senior School progress directly from our Junior School who share Fry campus.

The structure of the Senior School allows for middle leadership opportunities, including heads of department and heads of year.

Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• EITHER - Bachelor's of Education with PGCE or Master's and relevant experience teaching this subject specialism
• OR - Bachelor's in a subject relevant to teaching specialism plus PGCE/Master's in Education
• Have experience teaching at Key Stage 4 & 5 in a school with an outstanding track record
• Have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
• Have experience teaching in a UK setting or renowned British Curriculum international school
• Be at least 25 years old
