Job Summary: The Rotary Screw Diesel Mobile Type Compressor Technician is responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mobile diesel-powered rotary screw compressors. This role requires expertise in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation of compressors used in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections of rotary screw compressors to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issues. Perform diagnostic tests to assess compressor performance and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on diesel-powered rotary screw compressors, including oil changes, air filter replacements, and lubrication. Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, air filters, valves, and belts. Ensure proper function of both the compressor and the diesel engine driving it. Provide on-site service and repairs at customer locations or job sites, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Troubleshoot and repair any issues related to the compressor's diesel engine, pneumatic systems, and mechanical components.
