Compressor/Gearbox - Rotary Technician - MIRFA Shutdown Bilfinger-UAE

Position: TECHNICIAN-COMPRESSOR (ROTATING)

Qualification:

• 12 Year Technical Secondary education

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience (Compressor) in Oil and Gas Industries.

Previous experience in ADNOC Group companies (e.g., AIG, Takreer, Borouge) is an added advantage.

Salary: 5500 AED (FAT FREE)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Receives verbal or written instructions from Supervisor, obtains requirements for work, and permits to work and proceeds to worksite to carry out the job.
2. Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on rotating equipment.
3. Work with compressor manufacturers such as MHI, RENK, etc.
4. Determines in conjunction with Supervisor, where major equipment or sub-assemblies have to be removed to the Workshop for major repairs or overhaul and carries out repair or replacement before reassembling.
5. Perform tasks including alignment checks, disassembly, component removal, reassembly, and start-up.
6. Handle major equipment overhauls and workshop repairs.
7. Must be familiar with the operations of overhead cranes and similar equipment.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
9. Diagnose and repair failures by dismantling, assembling, and replacing defective components.

Position: TECHNICIAN-GEAR BOX OVERHAULING

Qualification:

• 12 Year Technical Secondary education

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience (Compressor) in Oil and Gas Industries.

2. Work with gearbox manufacturers such as MHI, FLENDER, etc.
3. Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on gearboxes.
4. Diagnose and repair failures by dismantling, assembling, and replacing defective components.
5. Decoupling gearboxes and compressors.
6. Removing accessories like vibration probes, temperature probes, and oil drainage.
7. Dismantling and inspecting bearings, labyrinth rings, and seals.
8. Cleaning and inspecting gear teeth, shaft seating, and probe areas.
9. Measuring mechanical run-out and checking gear backlash.
10. Performing axial float checks and gearbox refurbishment.
11. Ensuring proper alignment and gear tooth contact inspection.

All candidates should have experience in OIL & GAS maintenance Industry, preferably in GCC (MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES). All Managers/ Engineers should have a Degree in Engineering & Supervisors / Foreman should have a Diploma.
