Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conveying company’s internal and external messages. To supervise and direct the workflow of marketing, advertising or public relations specialists by assigning job tasks, facilitating interdepartmental communications and managing external communications.
  • Executes marketing and communication strategies including Communication Plans to communicate specific or strategic objectives of the Company to relevant stakeholders.
  • Creates, implements and manages marketing communications activities designed to generate awareness and brand identity to drive opportunities and stimulate interest in the organization.
  • Partners with internal clients to define business needs and objectives, crafts appropriate communication strategies and identifies appropriate marketing tactics to achieve business goals.
  • Chooses cost-effective methods to raise the external image and messaging for Amana.
  • Delivers messages using a variety of tools including events, brochures, web, video, infographics and social media.
  • Coordinates media relations outreach activities including preparation and editing of media materials such as press releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, as well as the collection and analysis of media coverage.
  • Leverages marketing and communications for internal communications by sharing marketing activities and project successes with employees.
  • Develops and implements support materials and activities to promote the Amana brand and enhance the image and recognition of the company.
  • Delivers methods and programs aimed at positive image creation in the media and the mind of stakeholders.
  • Develops and implements programs supporting Business Development objectives.

Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum experience of 14 years in marketing, advertising or media, particularly in the area of relationship marketing. Relevant agency or industry experience preferred.
  • Action oriented; Self-starter; Ability to work independently as well as in a small team; Excellent interpersonal skills; Time management; Professional demeanor; Planner; Creative; Organized.
  • Influential; Negotiating; Implementation and execution of brand strategy; Excellent communications and presentations skills as well as exceptional writing and editing skills are a must; Online media and internet marketing; Graphic design and social media; Knowledge of print production process; Trade show/event management; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
