Job description
Communications Control Coordinator - (Emirati Talent)
Answer all telephone and radio calls coming into the Communications Control Room (CCR) in a timely manner.
Transmit relevant information into the operation in a timely manner.
Ensure relevant units acknowledge transmitted information.
Accurately log communication activities in the logbook and database.
Ensure Duty Managers are on-site as scheduled.
Confirm Palace, Visitor Centre and Exhibition area readiness.
Report all relevant operational information to the Duty Manager in a timely manner.
Raise service requests (SR) for Maintenance as required by the park duty manager.
Follow up on maintenance and service requests as requested by the duty manager.
Complete weekly SR update reports and send to the Operations Director and Management Team.
Draft e-mails and standard reports, many of which will be based on standard templates.
Handle any filing required in the department and ensure necessary documents and records are updated and filed correctly.
Update regular trackers, excel sheets, data logs, and reports.
Identify and communicate any perceived discrepancies in reports to relevant stakeholders.
Confirm daily information with the park duty manager to ensure accuracy and transparency when completing daily reports.
Send daily SMS messages to key stakeholders.
Participate in regular crisis management refresher trainings as required by the department.
Ensure timely communication in the event of a crisis event.
Participate in regularly scheduled crisis management trainings and scenarios.
Support department teams with Kronos administration.
Any other related duties as assigned by the department.
Minimum Requirements
Higher secondary or equivalent.
6 months of experience working in an operational department within the hospitality or leisure industry (i.e. Operations, Guest Services, Park Services or Security).
Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) in English.
Ability to use Microsoft Office to a good standard (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Analytical skills (to identify trends in provided data).
Ability to act quickly and think on your feet.
6 months experience in an administrative role.
Knowledge of attractions, specifically Operational departments (i.e. Operations, Guest Services, Park Services and Security).
