Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to deliver consistent results.

Kitchen Organisation and Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas, including food storage, preparation, and service areas.
• Help with the proper storage and rotation of ingredients, minimising waste and ensuring freshness.
• Support the kitchen team in daily cleaning tasks to ensure the kitchen remains efficient and safe.

Collaboration and Learning

• Work closely with chefs and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.
• Be open to learning and mastering new culinary techniques and trends across various cuisines.
• Assist with special projects or tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic culinary knowledge and a desire to learn varied cooking techniques.
• Culinary school training or certifications are a plus.
