Commis Chef - International Cuisine

As a Commis Chef, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes from diverse global cuisines under the guidance of senior chefs. Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items for all sections (e.g., starters, mains, sauces, desserts) following recipes and instructions.
2. Support the senior chefs in creating high-quality international dishes while ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
3. Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets the quality and hygiene standards set by the kitchen.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your assigned workstations and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
5. Assist in the storage and stock management of ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
6. Help with food preparation for daily service, assisting with chopping, marinating, and other necessary tasks.
7. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
9. Adapt to various international cuisines, techniques, and flavors, learning about their unique characteristics and ingredients.
