What you will be doing:
- Prepare own inventory list for station.
- Ability to fill in for another chef when absent from another station. Basic overall knowledge is required.
- Ensure that standard recipes and plating guides are followed at all times.
- Provide the Executive Sous Chef with a daily market list for outlet and control all goods received to guarantee quality and quantity.
- Provide the Executive Sous Chef with recipes and costing as per the requirement.
- Assist and propose to the Executive Sous Chef & Executive Chef special Food Promotions, Events and other Food related activities for outlet.
- Interact and communicate with Outlet Supervisors daily to ensure all food items sent to the Outlets are well explained.
- Control food wastage without compromising on food quality.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in 5* hotel or similar.
- Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Be committed to exceeding guest expectations.
