Position Summary

The Commercial Strategy Manager will be part of the Commercial Strategy & Operation function and will help define ways to improve our current commercial processes while also being a data ambassador to help drive decisions that will help improve our commercial performance. The role will have direct interaction with commercial leaders which will allow you to understand PF business across different markets and work with different teams to make a difference.

This person will have at least 5 years of experience in management consulting or in-house commercial strategy with projects related to sales & strategy operations. The role will be responsible for 3 - 5 year country commercial strategy and work closely with Country Managing Directors and PF Leadership team to define commercial plans across different markets.

Key Responsibilities

Market and Customer Understanding

  • Responsible for leading commercial strategy multi-year plans at a country level working with Pricing, Marketing, Product, and Sales to align on key priorities and investments;
  • Plays a crucial role in the Strategic planning process by working with Finance and S&T to align on key priorities, set commercial targets, and quantify ROI across different areas;
  • Works with Commercial Operations lead to help bring visibility and reporting structure of commercial metrics across the company;
  • Conduct analysis to understand commercial opportunities by looking at client segmentation and detailed performance measures across countries to help identify improvement areas within our operations;
  • Proposed customer segmentation framework incorporating market structure and key value drivers to maximize value proposition, while building understanding of segment change dynamics;
  • Help on developing and refresh 1-year commercial strategy plan working with country managers to set together plans that will allow us to optimize growth;
  • Explore opportunities for adjacent revenue streams and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive synergies;

Commercial Processes and Performance Measure

  • Understand current state of sales productivity, establish metrics to drive sales enablement and make recommendations to increase efficiency across commercial teams;
  • Drive process improvement across the commercial function to align with best practices and organizational standards (including but not exclusive to sales targets, performance reporting, commission scheme, compensation structure and sales forecasting);

Business Analytics

  • Highlight opportunities both internally and at a client-facing level to show how customers and Property Finder can maximize ROI.
  • Ability to create data-driven sales stories that makes our data easy to digest and understand whilst giving actionable insights for them to improve ROI.
  • Build a trusted relationship with sales reps.
  • Work closely with sales team to develop content and training strategy.
  • Develop effective onboarding and training content for new and existing sales reps.
  • Facilitate training program for sales teams.

The Person

Desired Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in Management consulting or Commercial Strategy roles.
  • Preferred majors: Management Information Systems, Business, Economics, or other business-related majors.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Feels comfortable with data analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
