Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients in diverse sectors such as retail, automotive, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Market Knowledge: Stay updated on local market trends, industry regulations, and competitors to effectively position the company’s services.
Sales Presentations: Conduct meetings and presentations to clients, showcasing freight solutions and custom logistics strategies.
Negotiations & Closing: Lead negotiations with potential clients and close contracts that align with company objectives and profitability.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure successful execution of freight solutions, addressing any operational or client concerns promptly.
Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales activities, provide accurate pipeline reports, and forecast revenue growth based on market analysis.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE regulations concerning customs, import/export controls, and international trade laws.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the UAE or GCC region.
Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the UAE logistics market, including freight forwarding services (air, sea, land) and customs regulations.
Networking: Strong network of contacts within the freight, logistics, and supply chain sectors in the UAE.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus, but not required).
Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close high-value deals in a competitive environment.
Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Education: A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
