Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Overview

We are looking for aRefrigeration Technician, someone who will provide efficient and accurate maintenance and repair activities on refrigerant devices/ systems of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration customers.

Responsibilities

• Should have hands on experience in overhauling open and semi hermetic compressors.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of condensing units and condensers.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of Centralized refrigeration systems with multi racks.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of remote and plug in cabinets.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of cold rooms (walking chiller / Freezer, blast freezer and chillers.)
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical refrigeration controllers.
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting of remote monitoring systems.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of Ice machines (Scotsman).
• Should be able to follow layout drawings and carryout installation of piping and other refrigeration equipment’s.
• Should be able to Braze / repair defective joints and leaks.
• Observe and test system operation, using gauges and instruments.
• Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping the specified gas or fluid into the system.
• Estimate, order, pick up, deliver, and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Install expansion and control valves, using acetylene torches and wrenches.
• Prepare records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years refrigeration experience preferably in Middle East.
• UAE driving license.
