Why We Need You

As a Commercial Operations Manager at LocAI, you will play a crucial and dynamic role in driving our growth, leveraging your strong organisational and coordination skills along with your deep understanding of businesses and the AI landscape. We are looking for an analytical individual who combines a unique blend of commercial and technical acumen, industry knowledge, and project management.

In this position, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and initiating outreach efforts with potential partners that align with our strategic objectives. Your role is pivotal in shaping our company's future in the AI space, requiring a proactive, strategic and organised approach to seamlessly bridge the gap between various functions within the wider commercial team.

What You Will Do

  1. Proactively identify, research, and engage with potential partners, including technology companies, industry leaders, government entities, and institutions, in line with LocAI's strategic needs and plans.
  2. Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date pipeline of prospective deals, ensuring accurate tracking of each opportunity from initial contact to closure.
  3. Liaise with startups, companies and solutions to understand their solution and how their solution can be implemented across LocAI verticals.
  4. Liaise with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and technical teams, to gather relevant information, coordinate resources, and facilitate a seamless handoff between departments as deals progress.
  5. Assist in preparing and production of deliverables, pitch decks, demos, etc. based on the industry insights gained from coordinating with potential partner entities.
  6. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  7. Provide inputs on product pricing, go-to-market plan, conduct thorough analysis on the dynamics and unit economics of products.
  8. Work closely with the business development team to keep track of commercial opportunities, commission cycles and lead generation process.
  9. Ensure the proper utilisation and maintenance of LocAI's CRM system and other sales tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Who You Are

  1. 3+ years of business consulting or partnerships-based experience, preferably in the tech or AI industry.
  2. Proven success in deal sourcing and project management, preferably in the tech and business services industry.
  3. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level.
  4. Proven ability to provide strategic inputs and cross-functional collaboration.
  5. Highly developed business aptitude and industry expertise.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Proven ability to work collaboratively with Product and Tech teams.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  9. Startup or scale-up experience required.
  10. GCC experience required.
  11. You thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to change.
  12. You are a process driven and structured thinker.
  13. You work well in ambiguity.
  14. Proven ability to work in English and Arabic preferred.
