We are looking for a Commercial Manager who's an expert in spotting opportunities in buying, selling and real-time automated online bidding for heavy equipment, construction and industrial machinery. The ideal candidate should excel in building partnerships and act as a trusted advisor to customers. We expect the ideal candidate to utilize our data on demand, pricing, and various markets in order to gain a competitive edge in our sales approach. You should be capable of collaborating closely with clients to determine the best asset liquidation strategies, whether through online bidding, E-commerce, direct listings or a hybrid.
Responsibility:
- Be the single point of contact for all sales related issues.
- Supports and develops product sales, process effectiveness, overall growth as well as building, maintaining and updating a detailed policies and procedures manual.
- Identify geographic areas and sectors of opportunity.
- Develop and execute sales business plans and market share targets for the products offering.
- Oversee the automated online bidding business both on-site within the GCC region and globally through an e-commerce platform.
- Enhance and maintain a seamless and satisfactory customer experience.
- Contribute to Marketing plans and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure proper execution of sales strategies, train, develop and mentor team members.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience in sales, having held multiple roles in both sales and technical fields within the machinery and auction sectors.
- Deep understanding of the machinery and real-time bidding industry, including trends, regulatory considerations, key players and the ability to leverage this knowledge effectively.
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Experienced in hunting new business opportunities and the sense to act on them.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage sales teams effectively.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Extensive experience in contract management, with strong negotiation skills to successfully close deals while maintaining constructive and collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities for the organization's growth.
- Explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
- Comfortable with digital tools and platforms, especially those related to e-commerce and online auctions.
- A good knowledge of logistics and accounting principles.
- Ability to travel when required.
