Job description

We're looking for a Commercial Lead, MEA

which is a critical role for CMR in APMEA region and globally, in order to accelerate our growth plans. It's a fantastic opportunity to deliver CMR's challenging growth strategy, so we can continue to efficiently scale and achieve our ambitious strategic plans. Reporting directly to the President & CCO APMEA, you'll be accountable for defining a sound and effective growth plan in the Region and ensuring its execution by leading and motivating all customer-facing teams across MEA, including the Service and few others. A heavy focus will be on the Commercial front, ensuring that CMR Surgical maximizes its potential in MEA, across countries in the region – making the benefits of Versius available for as many patients as possible.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and coach a high performing team made up of customer facing functions, including Commercial (sales), Clinical Implementation, Professional Education and Service and Support (field technical support)
  2. Design MEA regional strategy – based on CMR APMEA strategy – for a sustained and sustainable business growth
  3. Manage distributors across MEA to ensure profitable sales
  4. Execute with utmost rigor on both short-term and long-term plans, with a key focus on Commercial development
  5. Deploy your existing contacts to advocate CMR and its product offerings to grow the customer base across the region and meet targets
  6. With a high focus on developing talent and teams – continue to grow the strong CMR culture across the cluster and be an ambassador for the voice of MEA at CMR
  7. Role model the key behaviors expected from a senior leader on all dimensions
  8. Ensure business compliance with all local requirements (e.g., labor laws, HCP engagement)

About You

Success in this role requires:

  • Proven leadership capability, must have experience of leading and growing teams, as well as developing teams
  • Strong balance between execution mindset, practical approach and strategic thinking
  • Proven history of delivering short-term results in parallel to shaping up the infrastructure for long-term success
  • Established contact list and a track record of building relationships with clinical professionals and hospital C-suites
  • Ability to support the wider APMEA CMR & global CMR success, actively contributing to CMR strategy design
  • A history of working in a leadership capacity in both large multi-nationals and smaller start-ups, or start-up divisions within a blue-chip company
  • Experience of setting stretch targets and then inspiring a team to deliver on those objectives
  • Exceptional commercial acumen
