We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to drive the financial success and strategic growth of our business. What You'll Do:
- Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth:
Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize commercial opportunities and meet revenue targets.
Collaborate with senior management to align commercial objectives with business goals. - Sales & Business Development:
Lead the sales team to identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and close deals.
Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base. - Contract Negotiation & Risk Management:
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and partners to optimize profitability and mitigate risks.
Ensure all contractual agreements are legally sound and align with business objectives. - Financial Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to assess commercial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to address deviations from targets. - Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks impacting business operations or financial outcomes.
Implement risk management processes to safeguard the organization’s interests. - Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and guide the commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Mentor team members to ensure high performance. - Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and networking events.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of commercial experience with a strong focus on finance management, preferably within the catering, hospitality, or food services industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to turn complex data into actionable business insights.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams to drive commercial success.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is a plus).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
