Colorectal General Surgeon (Female) - Dubai

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Colorectal General Surgeon (Female) to join our prestigious medical center in Dubai. As a Colorectal General Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with conditions related to the colon, rectum, and anus. You will perform a variety of surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures, to repair and remove damaged tissues and organs. Your expertise will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout their treatment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and symptoms to determine the best course of treatment.
2. Perform surgical procedures, such as colonoscopies, rectal surgeries, and colon resections, using the latest techniques and technology.
3. Monitor patients' progress before and after surgery, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
4. Collaborate with other medical professionals, such as oncologists and radiologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients with cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and other conditions.
5. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures to improve their overall health and well-being.
6. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of colorectal surgery and attend conferences and seminars to enhance knowledge and skills.
7. Adhere to all medical and ethical standards while managing patient care and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
8. Participate in departmental meetings, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance of the medical center.

Qualifications

1. Doctor of Medicine degree and specialized training in colorectal surgery.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Colorectal General Surgeon.
3. Proven track record of successful surgeries and patient outcomes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Effective time management and organizational skills.
6. Proficiency in electronic medical record keeping.
7. Must be Western-trained.
