CNC Machinist

Job Responsibilities

1. Operating and setting up of CNC machines for turning and threading.
2. Generate CNC programs using our pre-defined programs.
3. Cutting and inspection for API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, JFE connections.
4. Use a wide variety of measuring equipment, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
5. Follow all safety rules and policies provided by NOV.
6. Produce/machine threaded connections and parts as per the provided drawing and program.
7. Inspect and verify that each thread and part is generated as per the provided specifications.
8. Follow all the guidelines provided by the Supervisor.
9. Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
10. Responsible for care, use, and protection of all company equipment.
11. Know, understand, and follow all company and department safety rules.
12. Maintain clean and orderly work area.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
14. Perform job duties accurately and responsibly. Verify part and work order.
15. Conduct daily checks of machines before operating and identifying risks.
16. Check specifications, work orders, drawings, and materials.
17. Machine/manufacture the part within the given time.
18. Report problems to Supervisor.
19. Maintain traceability and inspection reports.
20. Follow shop rules advised by supervisors.
21. Report all unsafe and/or hazardous acts or conditions to Manager.
22. Report any damaged or misused equipment, including but not limited to gauges, fixtures, and instruments.
23. Assist with training when required.
