CNC Machinist

Job Responsibilities

1. Operating and setting up CNC machines for turning and threading.
2. Generating CNC programs using pre-defined programs.
3. Cutting and inspection for API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, JFE connections.
4. Using a wide variety of measuring equipment and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
5. Following all safety rules and policies provided by NOV.
6. Producing/machining threaded connections and parts as per the provided drawings and programs.
7. Inspecting and verifying that each thread and part is generated as per the provided specifications.
8. Adhering to guidelines provided by the Supervisor.
9. Maintaining a neat and clean working environment.
10. Being responsible for the care, use, and protection of all company equipment.
11. Following all company and department safety rules.
12. Performing daily checks of machines before operating and identifying risks.
13. Checking specifications, work orders, drawings, materials, and programs.
14. Machining/manufacturing parts within the given time frame.
15. Reporting problems to the supervisor.
16. Maintaining traceability and inspection reports.
17. Following shop rules advised by supervisors.
18. Reporting all unsafe or hazardous acts or conditions to the Manager.
19. Reporting any damaged or misused equipment, including gauges, fixtures, and instruments.
20. Assisting with training when required.
21. Performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
