CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

• Co-ordinating with production people for ensuring timely completion of given jobs.
• Setup and operate CNC lathe or milling machines to machine metallic and non-metallic work pieces according to specification, tooling instructions and standard charts, applying knowledge of machining methods.
• Ensure all components produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, etc.
• Study of drawing and job order for product specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions, such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and determine the sequence of operations.
• To avoid rejection and maintain the quality of the production.
• Proper setup of machine.
• Reporting to Supervisor or Production Manager if any damage or defects while operating.
