Is responsible for the implementation of Revenue Management methods in a dedicated hotel in order to maximize the turnover in accordance with hotel strategies, brands marketing, and customers needs.
Is responsible for having all the revenue management processes in place in the hotel; he/she implements the Hotels strategy under guidance of Cluster Revenue and Reservations Manager, on a daily basis updates planning quotes groups and alerts Hotel Manager when market deviates from strategy.
Is in charge of helping to reach and beat the operational turnover budget of the hotel.
Supports the Cluster Revenue and Reservations Manager in the creation of the strategy (with proper analysis) and works effectively with the implemented revenue management system. Furthermore, implements the strategy based on the daily recommendations in the distribution channels and checks the system recommendations for sense, providing complementary or revised proposals for optimization.
Ensures the filing system is kept updated by putting together old and inactive files and storing these items for possible future reference.
Ensures all Heartists within the Reservations team have complete knowledge of special package rates and restricted dates.
Checks new accounts and new rates, ensuring accuracy of all contracted rates inputted in the system.
Maintains a database of all regular guests and accounts.
Qualifications :
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Previous relevant work experience is a must.
Strong understanding or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, PC, and office applications.
Highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
Ability to work independently yet respond to internal customers' needs.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in hospitality.
A university degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management.
