A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Managing and monitoring all computer hardware to ensure systems are running smoothly – regularly reporting back to the board.
• Managing the overall operations of the IT department, including budgeting, staffing, and performance management.
• Keeping up to date with all our approved systems and technology – from LAN to POS.
• Auditing IT performance, managing budgets and evaluating vendor proposals.
• Implementing and maintaining IT policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Recruiting, coaching and managing your team of IT experts to drive exceptional standards.
• Safeguarding our IT infrastructure against cyber threats.
• Serving as a key IT liaison with senior management, business units, and external partners.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels about IT operations, projects, and initiatives.

What we need from you

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and systems.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing proactive maintenance strategies to prevent issues before they arise.
• Ability to analyze data from IT operations to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in IT operations and management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
