Cluster IT Director- Dubai

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee the entire IT operations of our organization. You will ensure all technology systems are running smoothly, secure the infrastructure against threats, and drive continuous improvement while managing the IT team effectively. Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor all computer hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Oversee daily operations of the IT department, including staffing, budgeting, and performance management.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of IT performance, making recommendations for improvement and overseeing system upgrades.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and update all IT systems including LAN, WAN, POS, and cloud-based services.
• Evaluate and select vendors, managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for hardware, software, and services.
• Ensure the organization is protected against cybersecurity threats by implementing robust security measures.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery and backup procedures to safeguard critical data.
• Serve as a key liaison between the IT department, senior management, and business units to align IT strategies with organizational goals.
• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Monitor emerging trends in IT and recommend new technologies that will enhance business operations and competitiveness.
• Analyze data from IT operations to identify trends, system inefficiencies, and areas for potential improvement.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on IT infrastructure, network management, and security.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a technical team.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance standards, and risk management.
• Experience with budgeting and managing IT departmental finances.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, cybersecurity protocols, and proactive maintenance strategies.
• Ability to analyze complex data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve IT operations.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization technologies, and enterprise software systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
