Job Summary

ACE role is responsible for the customer lifecycle from project concept to usage and expansion within the customer. Drives alignment with the Cloud Sales Rep, working as a team within the customer to define/drive sales strategy, find and win new workloads, and conduct technical due diligence to achieve the “Technical Win.” Maintains an awareness of the customer’s infrastructure and advises on new workloads. Orchestrates the technical teams/skills required to ensure our technology drives customer business outcomes and sustainable usage/growth. Builds the consumption plan with the customer and collaborates with the Cloud Adoption Manager to ensure customer adoption health and experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

The ACE orchestrates all technical activity in the account, leading presales activities and defining account strategy to drive consumption growth. Accountable for ensuring successful customer experience in their territory, understanding customer portfolios, IT and business priorities, and establishing solutions that meet customer needs. Acts as a customer Trusted Advisor, informing customers on Oracle emerging technologies and showcasing Oracle's technology capabilities. Acts as the customer's single point of contact for cloud engineering-related aspects and engages Oracle Cloud technology teams to create solutions, design architecture, and deliver technical workshops during the sales cycle.

Skills & Profile

Requires broad technical experience of Cloud Infrastructure and Platform solutions, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture. Knowledge of Oracle platform services and cloud infrastructure is advantageous. Demonstrates leadership capability, the ability to delegate activities, and involve the right teams/skill sets. Excellent communication, presentation skills, and the ability to discuss architectures with different management levels. Experience in understanding complex customer ecosystems and translating needs into solutions. Familiarity with 3rd party and Oracle Architecture frameworks, high commercial business understanding, ability to identify key trends, engage and influence stakeholders, and build relationships to grow business.

Implements solutions, ensures successful deployments, creates technical assets, and serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
