We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. You'll work closely with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to build and optimize our cloud environments, automate processes, and support mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
Implement and manage cloud services using [AWS / Azure / GCP] best practices.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Monitor system performance, availability, and scalability, and proactively address issues.
Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to enforce cloud governance and security policies.
Troubleshoot cloud environment issues and provide timely solutions.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the cloud ecosystem.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
Deep expertise with [AWS / Azure / GCP], including core services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.).
Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with monitoring / logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
Experience working in agile development environments.
