Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer

Location: Offshore
Contract Type: 6 Months Extendable Contract (Marc Ellis Pay roll)

Are you an experienced Cloud Data Engineer ready to bring your skills to cutting-edge projects? We're looking for a highly motivated professional to implement and support on-prem applications in the cloud, collaborating with a diverse team of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Manage data storage while ensuring high data quality.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses to support business operations.
• Create reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into performance and trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Write scripts and code to automate data processes for operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support for cloud-based applications, addressing issues promptly.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Technology Experience: 7+ years in technology roles, including software development, technical support, and ETL development.
• SSIS: Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF): 3+ years of hands-on experience (proficiency required for migration tasks).
• .NET Experience: Basic coding knowledge, specifically for ADF migration.
• Programming: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Scala).
• Database Expertise: Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, with PL/SQL as a must.
• ETL Tools: Proficiency in tools like Azure Data Factory, ODI, or Informatica PowerCentre.
• Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Business Objects.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
