MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide clinical psychology services in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Conduct psychiatric interviews and collect data for diagnostic purposes.
2. Develop relevant treatment programmes, including therapy, counselling or professional advice in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
3. Provide career counselling services.
4. Provide therapy and treatments for mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, addiction, social and behaviour-related challenges.
5. Provide psychotherapies, including group and family therapies.
6. Perform psychometric testing for diagnosis and evaluation of therapy.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Bachelor's degree in Psychology. A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognised college or university will be an advantage.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' relevant postgraduate experience in the field of Clinical Psychology.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Personality, interest and other psychological tests and measuring methodologies.
• UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements.
