SearchPlus HR is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Specialist / Consultant in Pain Medicine. This role is crucial in providing specialized care to patients experiencing a range of pain-related conditions. You will play a key role in assessing patient needs, creating tailored treatment plans, and implementing effective pain management strategies to enhance patient quality of life.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients with acute and chronic pain issues.
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans utilizing both pharmacologic and interventional options.
• Perform advanced pain management procedures, including but not limited to nerve blocks, epidural injections, and joint injections.
• Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques and resources.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with an active medical license.
• Completion of residency in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or a related specialty.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine is strongly preferred.
• Significant clinical experience in the treatment and management of pain conditions.
• Strong understanding of pain assessment tools and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to ongoing education and practice improvement in pain management.
