Job description

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for:

  1. Central contact for major accounts, reporting to Head of Customer Service in Hamburg
  2. Administrating repair events for airline customers in the region
  3. Negotiating sales orders with airline and aviation MRO customers
  4. Building a relationship network in the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey
  5. Monitoring and developing the account’s due payment process
  6. Handling, coordinating, and documenting customer queries
  7. Managing local material with external service providers
  8. Arranging and documenting material supply measures
  9. Coordinating the return of equipment to the customer and/or repair facilities
  10. Handling special assignments and projects

The ideal Customer Service Manager should meet the following requirements:

  1. A-level / High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Technical education in aeronautical engineering, aviation, or similar
  3. Experience in business analytics, material management, or aircraft maintenance
  4. Commercial responsibility experience
  5. Advanced IT skills (MS Office, SAP R/3)
  6. Fluent in English (German or other languages a plus)
  7. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  8. Ability to work independently, under pressure
