Cleaner / Office Boy

Role & responsibilities Cleaners have many duties and responsibilities, including cleaning and sanitizing, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. Cleaning and sanitizing

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting surfaces and furniture
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and kitchens
• Spot-cleaning spills
• Washing walls, glass, and upholstered furniture

Restocking supplies

• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries
• Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters

Reporting maintenance issues

• Reporting maintenance issues or damages to relevant authorities

Safety

• Adhering to safety protocols and using cleaning chemicals safely
• Having knowledge of public safety and security

Other duties

• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste appropriately
• Folding laundry, ironing, and making beds
• Buffing, polishing, and waxing floors

Cleaners should also be patient, thorough, and have good customer service skills.
