Civil QC Engineer

Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Civil QC Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. What you will need to do:

1. Review all technical documents, data sheets, and Material Requisitions.
2. Lead a team of QC Inspectors and coordinate all inspections at vendor/subcontractor and site.
3. Compile Final Project Dossiers (RFI, Inspection & Testing Reports).
4. Strong experience in preparation, review, and inspection of civil engineering deliverables.
5. Experience in preparing and reviewing concrete specification, mix design, and ITPs.
6. Strong supervisory, coordination, and reporting skills.
7. Experience in all Civil-related works (O&G).
8. Knowledge of all civil laboratory testing requirements.

What you will need to have:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized/reputed University.
2. Certified Auditor ISO 9001:2015.
3. Minimum 8 years as QC Engineer (previous experience with ADNOC projects will be an advantage).
4. Fluency in English.
5. Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including the use of MS Office.
6. Well versed in the preparation, review, and approval of ITP, procedures, method statements, MAR.
7. Conversant with international construction codes, standards, SHELL DEP, ADNOC specifications.
8. Familiar with material selection, various fill material, inspection, lab testing, and certification of concrete, re-bar, pre-cast elements, in-situ casting, foundations, sleepers, trenches.
9. Familiar with civil construction methods for Pipeline, buildings, and foundations.
10. Shall be hands-on in the repair methods for RCC.
11. Shall be adept in interface management with implementation contractor QC, client QC, vendor QC for periodic inspections, coordinate with survey team for survey reports – review and verify survey data.
