Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Foreman to oversee and manage the construction of a luxury villa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, with proven experience in high-end residential projects. As the Civil Foreman, you will ensure that all construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors. Ensure the project progresses according to the construction schedule and within budget. Manage and monitor site activities to adhere to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Site Supervision: Oversee the installation of structural elements, including foundations, walls, and roofing, ensuring compliance with design specifications and local building codes. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with the project requirements.
• Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards for all aspects of construction. Address and resolve any construction defects or issues promptly. Conduct site inspections and report on progress, quality, and safety.
• Health and Safety: Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols on site. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all workers are trained in safety practices. Maintain a safe working environment and address any safety concerns immediately.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the construction team and the project management team. Provide regular updates on project status, including progress reports, delays, and any issues encountered. Liaise with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure alignment on project requirements.
• Material and Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement and use of construction materials and equipment. Ensure materials are delivered on time and stored properly to prevent damage or loss. Track inventory and manage equipment maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of construction activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders. Ensure all documentation is submitted as required and in a timely manner.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications or diplomas may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the civil construction industry, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
• Certifications: Valid certifications in health and safety, such as OSHA or equivalent, are advantageous.
