Civil Foreman

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC for an :

Job Purpose :

This position is a unique opportunity for you to work on DEWA Substations Projects and be responsible for supervising the departmental / contracts site works of 11 kV and 33 kV Substation installation & commissioning in order to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of projects.

Your main duties will be to:

1. Study the CAR with ring diagram & understand NOC drawings.
2. Locate underground services & perform cable tracing with cable locators.
3. Control over the labor and site activities.
4. Be fit to work at site during extreme weather conditions.
5. Install pilot, FO cables and FO ducts as required.
6. Make job-related decisions in day-to-day execution.
7. Daily follow-up and reporting to superiors regarding site progress.
8. Coordinate with party contractors and plot owners.
9. Perform miscellaneous urgent jobs assigned by supervisor/foreman/manager.

Profile:

Ideally, you will have graduated with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or 2 Years ITI Electrical with a minimum of 3 years of experience in HV/LV cable, pilot cable, and FO duct installation.

You have good communication skills and English proficiency.

You will possess good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
