CIVIL ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Job Title: Civil Estimation Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors for building construction projects.
2. Analyze architectural & structural drawings, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and specifications to calculate quantities using software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CostX, or Planswift).
3. Develop competitive tender submissions, including pricing, methodologies, and project timelines.
4. Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
5. Identify potential risks in project scope, materials, or labor costs and propose mitigation strategies.
6. Suggest cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality or compliance.
7. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine estimates and align with project goals.
8. Stay updated on construction material prices, labor rates, and industry trends.
9. Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions, and bid documents.

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. 5+ years in estimation for building construction in UAE (high-rises, villas, commercial complexes, etc.).
