Civil Engineer

Werner Falasi Consulting Architects (WFCA) are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring quality control, and managing project delivery according to specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day construction activities and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
2. Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
3. Ensure project execution complies with approved designs, specifications, and local authority requirements.
4. In charge of checking PT and RC/Steel Structural elements before casting.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and conduct QA/QC inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Manage and resolve technical issues during construction.
7. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
8. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed progress reports.
9. Coordinate with various project teams including MEP, architecture, and interior design.
10. Ensure site safety protocols are strictly followed.
11. Understanding & compliance with Method Statements and risk assessments.
12. Understanding & compliance with general site safety standards and rules including communication to the team.
13. Basic knowledge for housekeeping and waste management for your area.
14. Aware of final handing-over of the project.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably with a consultancy background in the UAE.
3. Proven track record in luxury residential project delivery.
4. Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
5. Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations.
6. Valid UAE professional engineering license & relevant accreditation cards.
7. Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and quality control processes.
8. Excellent understanding and coordination of the Architecture, MEP, and ID details.
9. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office/relevant software.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
